SENIOR INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN(s)

Job Summary

You will be the designated leader of installation crew(s) performing new installation, upgrades, provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting/fault isolation and restoration activities of essential wireless systems used in the provision of essential telecommunication systems, including personal wireless communications, public safety communications, utility networks and DAS systems

Duties and Responsibilities

◈ 2+ year of Wireless, DAS, and Small Cell Systems (dependent on certifications and experience)
◈ Knowledge and Installation of base stations, eNode B’s of key OEM vendors such as Nokia, Ericsson and Huawei
◈ Ability to hire and teach crew members, key procedures in installation, repair, modification, optimization, or acceptance tests of wireless infrastructures and electrical equipment
◈ Isolate hardware, software, and air interface issues utilizing various test equipment on multiple products and technologies
◈ Extensive knowledge of various types of testing equipment’s (Site Master, Spectrum analyzer, Signal generators
◈ Recommend changes, installation techniques, and/or aide in the discussion of site layout
◈ Complete all assigned tasks within project scope accurately and efficiently
◈ Strict attention to detail and organization; enabling timely task completion focusing on the quality of workmanship, crew safety, and productivity
◈ Provide support to managers and customers
◈ Demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service at all times
◈ Work effectively in a team environment
◈ Ensure accurate and timely reports are completed and submitted
◈ Experienced in the installation of Wireless, DAS, and/or Small Cell systems
◈ Must be able to work at heights 100ft +; maintain ability to weather proof and ground all tower types
◈ Climb to elevated heights working safely and effectively
◈ Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned

Requirements

◈ Demonstrate knowledge of cell site service monitors, RF test equipment, and T1 test equipment
◈ Strict attention to detail and organization
◈ Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm needed in a constantly changing work environment
◈ Pass the following tests prior to employment: drug test, background check, and physical examination evaluation process during training
◈ Maintain CPR/First Aid AED, OSHA 10, RF Radiation Safety & Awareness
◈ Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
◈ Ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time
◈ Ability to distinguish and identify colors/color schemes

Physical Requirements

◈ Energetic and mentally prepared
◈ Ability to meet physical demands of the job
◈ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
◈ Ability to bend, lift, twist, squat, kneel, sit for extended periods of time
◈ Ability to work outside and withstand varied inclement weather conditions [Approx. -5° to 40° C]
